Corbett Riverside Resort

Magical mornings with mesmerizing view of lush green forest, mountains, river and fresh air are what we all love !

This was our third trip to Jim Corbett, we love to get lost in the wilderness and that’s why we visit this place again and again. This time the trip was more fun as my sisters joined us too and it was my birthday. We reached in the lush green cover of Corbett region early in the morning and headed to our resort – http://www.corbettriverside.com/Corbett Riverside Resort. The journey from the resort entrance to our suite was breathtaking and has well maintained intact floras. Beautiful bamboo groves and small pebbles on path made that location even more gorgeous. We were awestruck by the beauty of this resort and our suite.

STAY

The resort offers a range of standard, deluxe, river-front rooms and suites. We opted for Tiger Den Suite which had private pool. The suite was well equipped with comfortable king size beds with design coordinated linen and upholstery, mirror closets, natural and organic toiletries, 32″ flat TV screen and wifi. The pool, mountain and forest view from the suite was treat to our eyes. Above all of these, we had private swings too by the pool and that was what I loved the most and almost spent my time here swinging on. The interior of room was superb and contemporary. This place is ideal for travelers who look forward for luxurious and a peaceful place.

FOOD

The resort has two restaurant: Wild Side Alfresco Restaurant & River’s Edge Restaurant. Wild side offers grill/ tandoor items which you can enjoy in the evening with live music and bonfire. River’s Edge serves Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisines which you can enjoy by the river with superb drinks. The highlight of any place is it’s food and this place stood above the mark in this. The food was really sumptuous and barbeque items were heaven.

OUR EXPERIENCE

We went on this trip for three days. On the first day, we reached early morning, got fresh, had breakfast, rested for few hours, strolled around the property and relaxed. We really love the ambiance of the property and just to let you know guys, this is the only property in Corbett which has an unbroken one kilometer long private river bank.

In  the evening we went for a walk and got some stunning pictures clicked, came back had delicious dinner and guess what happened in the midnight…..The suited was decorated and a surprise was waiting for me as it was my birthday.

The Second day, my birthday morning started with yummy breakfast by the river and then we headed for jungle safari and this time finally I spotted a tiger..wohoo!

We came back by the evening and guess what…. again there was a surprise planned for me. My sister’s closed my eyes and took me to an unknown place and I had no clue. There was a beautifully decorated table with delicious cake and foods along with bonfire at the side. The night was full of fun and food. Thanks to courteous staffs for making mind blowing arrangements.

The next day (third day), we got up little late as we were exhausted and partied a lot last night. This day we spent in exploring this place, we visited some sight seeing places there and in the evening we went to the riverside and got some stunning pictures clicked.

We admired literally everything here right from the impeccable, warm cosy hospitality to the beautiful property location to the lip smacking food to the fun filled nights with live music and bonfire to the experiences they offer and to the walk alongside the river. They will fill your soul with so much warmness and happiness that it really becomes hard to say goodbye to this amazing place. Thank you so much Mr. Dipu, Mr. Qamar and all friendly and humble staffs for making our stay so memorable that we will cherish forever.

Hope you guys found this post informative and do stay in this resort if you happen or planning to visit Jim Corbett. Stay tuned for the next !
