Hope you guys are doing great..!! I am feeling very grateful and encouraged at this point of my life. You guys are awesome, killing it with your comments and likes on my social media handles. Now, without taking too much time, coming to the post. As an Indian women, we all have a special corner reserved in our hearts for the saree. I have grown up seeing my mom and grandmother wearing saree, it used to enthrall me. Saree can make any women look elegant and most beautiful and it is a wear that can actually bring out the femininity of a woman in the most eloquent way.
You know my love for black and this luxurious tussar silk black saree was gifted by my mom, I was eagerly waiting to style it and finally did when I visited Jaisalmer. I like sarees, the way they have always been worn traditionally but here I draped it differently. When it comes to sarees, there is no end in variations, the options are wide and you can always pick one that suits you best. I just love the juxtaposition of Indian and kinda-western. I wore my high neck dress as blouse tucked it in peticoat and draped saree in loose pleats style. After forming skirt pleats, wrapped over hips but leaved the drape around waist loose; made thin pallu pleats and pinned on shoulder. Added pop of color with red tassel earrings and long chain tassel necklace. Multicolor bracelets, Tibetan style sling bag and metallic gold shoes made the look playful and fun. If this look inspires you, give it a try and do tag me when you post the picture, I would be more than happy to see..
