Lansdowne – Part 1

For those of you who follow me on Instagram or Snapchat, you already know that I had recently visited Lansdowne with Ravi for a relaxing weekend getaway. Lansdowne , a very calm, quiet , serene and clean hill station in Garhwal Himalayas, is the embodiment of British Heritage. We took train from Delhi to Kotdwar and cab from Kotdwar to Lansdowne to reach there. Distance between Kotdwar to Lansdowne is 44 km, one can also reach there by road from Delhi, it is about 250 km.
We reached there Sunday morning and returned back on Tuesday morning in Delhi. The morning scene was mesmerising and so fresh. It is a beautiful place to visit if you are just planning to relax from your busy schedule. This place has very small market with few local restaurants and other shops. You absolutely must try Garhwali sweets and momos there.(Zaika restaurant had yumm momos). On first day, we relaxed and walked to Bhulla lake, enjoyed boating, fresh breeze and spent our day well.

Bhulla Lake
I wore this mustard top and layered it up with denim dress which I wore as jacket, printed pleated pants and a pair of white sneakers and accessorized the look by adding boho neckpiece and these cute turquoise jhumkis. Folded the hem of pants till ankle and wore this nerdy glasses to add fun to the look.
